New video on guns, freedom and responsibility from a shooting range near Knoxville is up for patrons to critique and help me edit, if they like. Will polish and post to YouTube by sunrise tomorrow.
Long story short, gun owners vary in how (and how much) they think about the Second Amendment. The near-purist view that’s prevailed in the Tennessee legislature (unrestricted open carry for handguns) is not unanimous, even in Tennessee, but it is the trend nationally.
For what it’s worth, I thought I did pretty well hitting the target with a .22 caliber handgun. I was not swept away by the experience, however, and will not be purchasing any firearms in the near term.
