Feeling encouraged about Scuffed News to start this week. The video from the Amazon warehouse in Alabama has done extremely well by my standards, we passed the 1,000 mark for subscribers on YouTube and have seen that number increase by 13% in the past three days. Feels like a “window of momentum,” as one of my friends put it a few months ago, when momentum was more hypothetical. And I’ve got footage for two videos (guns and CBD shops) to work with starting this morning. Thanks to everyone who is patronizing the channel on Patreon. If you do, you should check your secondary inboxes for notifications, because I have been posting stuff there and it’s at least marginally interesting. Here’s footage of abandoned buildings in Bessemer, here’s me shooting an AR-15, and here’s my latest story idea.

“You said I sounded a bit callous in my last letter Dad. Let me see if I can put things in a better way. At this particular Mobile Army Hospital, we are not concerned with the ultimate reconstruction of the patient. We care only about getting the kid out of here alive enough for someone else to put on the fine touches. We work fast and we're not dainty. We try to play par surgery on this course. Par is a live patient.” — Hawkeye Pierce, M*A*S*H
