Two observations:

1) the nation’s capital appears exceedingly secure. As one guy said, “it’s a show.” Of force.
2) the vibe we got from people was basically non-partisan. Almost all opponents of Trump, but not scorched-earth about it. Maybe that was an accident of who we spoke with. Who knows.
